Our Company Story
The history of the company started in 1993, when the founder heard about the introduction of a new market that involved fine and special coffee.
Having and managing a coffee mill in Antigua Guatemala, the founder started processing coffee from Antigua as well as experimenting with beans grown by small producers in high altitude nearby regions.
Since the origin of the business, we have used the traditional methods for milling which include clean water, natural fermentation and sun drying the coffee.
After 26 successful years in the craft, Cafemar has processed more than 200,000 bags of coffee, achieving excellent quality and taste.
Founded on the values of integrity, accountability and honesty, Cafemar has sold high quality coffee to local exporters for over 26 years and is looking to embark on new ventures in the world of coffee.
